Your State Accredited Police Department, in the interest of providing a safe environment for all and to enhance quality of life in this community, pledges to serve and protect the life and property of the people of Picayune. Our goal is to prevent crime, to preserve public peace, and to uphold those guarantees set down in the Constitution of the United States of America, laws of the state of Mississippi and local ordinances of the City of Picayune. This mission grows from our vision of the relationship between the citizens of Picayune and the Picayune Police Department.

Accreditation Public Comment Portal
The purpose of this portal is to receive comments regarding an agency's compliance with CALEA standards, engagement in the service community, delivery of public safety services, and overall candidacy for accredited status. $15 | Fingerprinting – Must supply own fingerprinting card. Fingerprint card must be signed at the time of fingerprinting in front of the records clerk. Fee $15 per card. |
$15 | Incident Report – Plus $1 per page for 5th and subsequent pages. |
$20 | Criminal Records Check (Background Check) |
$15 | Research of Records – $15.00 per hour with a minimum of (1) one hour, plus the $15 cost of the report. Fifth (5th) page and subsequent pages will be $1 for each page. |
$10 | Photograph Reproduction – $10.00 per photograph plus any processing cost. |
$25 | Video Tape Reproduction |
